1. 1961

   Building

   K-Constructions Services – and some of its current and former members – has a long history, either in its present form or in other forms (in the recent or distant past), dating back to 1961. From 1961 to the present day it has been involved in building.

   In its early years, two generations ago, it was a subcontracting and contracting business that dealt with the first stages of building: formwork, masonry, plastering and roof insulation, mainly in new buildings. During this period it carried out projects both small and large. It has thus built the frame and the other stages mentioned above for small private properties as well as for large private and public buildings (for example new wings at Korydallos prison, the 19th Primary School of Rentis – Nikaia, the Rentis – Nikaia nursery school, the 11,000 m² Melissia shopping centre and many more).

   Always guided by its principles, with high quality and sound technique as its main concern, K-Constructions Services built its own name in building. It also acquired a large range of construction equipment (formwork, scaffolding and related machinery) that allowed it to carry out such projects.

2. 2002–2013

   Apartments

   Over the years, through joint ventures or through some of its members taking part in newly formed companies, it was also active in building and selling apartments, from 2002 until 2013. During that time it also delivered many projects on a turnkey basis.

3. 2002

   Renovations

   K-Constructions Services has never, to this day, neglected or abandoned its original activity. However, considering how its sector has developed, together with the studies, knowledge and fresh ideas brought by the new generations that followed, it evolved and took on other areas of building close to its heart, always based on the same standards that have governed it since it was founded.

   It has thus been active in renovation since 2002, having carried out designs and projects of every scale. The research and varied ideas of its people ensure creative development, turned into constantly dynamic and evolving constructions. Today's team, with people educated and experienced in this field, makes it a company that brings real know-how to this work. In addition, the permanent employment of skilled workers gives it one more strategic advantage in the way it operates and delivers its projects.

4. 2007

   Insulation

   As mentioned above, it has worked in insulation since its early years, and has grown rapidly in this field since 2007, recognising the large gap in the reliability of the applications on the market. Another important motive was its members' awareness of the strain that buildings (residential and commercial) put both on the environment and on the people who live or spend part of their day in them (sick buildings).

5. Today

   Special applications

   K-Constructions Services has developed, and brings, a high level of know-how in specialised stages of construction. Over the years it has built up great expertise in repairs and structural reinforcement. Finally, a significant part of its annual turnover comes from surface coating applications (decorative finishes, microcement, epoxy).

   This is how K-Constructions Services has travelled and evolved over time. And one thing is certain: its evolution continues…

   Materials

   As a contracting business, it chooses and uses materials from companies that ensure the highest standards of application. All the materials it uses carry the relevant certificates and meet specific technical specifications. Its principle is to test and check new materials in its own premises before using them on projects. It never goes for the cheapest material, as cheap materials can often cause the most expensive damage.

2. 02

   Consistency

   A core principle of K-Constructions Services is to keep its word, its appointments and its schedules. It bases the way it works on truth and consistency. Its work always starts and finishes according to the specifications set out in each quotation.

   Detailed method statements

   Its method statements are always detailed, describing the work step by step, because it wants every client to take part and to understand, as far as possible, exactly what will be done in their space.
